A guided tour of the new National Gallery of Umbria allows visitors to admire the great masterpieces preserved there and discover the history of Perugia through its public building: the Palazzo dei Priori, symbol of the city’s triumph during the communal period.
The new layout has enhanced the exhibition layout and architecture, starting with the Loggia dell’Alessi overlooking Corso Vannucci.
During the guided tour, we will discover the masterpieces that have brought glory to Perugia: Piero della Francesca, Beato Angelico, Benozzo Gozzoli, Pinturicchio, and Perugino, to whom two rooms are dedicated, containing the most significant number of works preserved in a single museum.
