Summer is now near and the days have a special light that makes nature even more striking.

Spoleto, at the apex of the Umbrian Valley, is a vision just in the physical embrace it tends to its woods, its sacred mountain. As a guide, I am a bit biased because I love this Roman, Lombard and papal city.

I love its elegance and popular sights. Therefore, on guided tours in this city, I hardly hold back my enthusiasm.

In addition to the historic center, I would like to take you through the village to tell about Hannibal and the fleeing Carthaginians. But above all, I would like to take you to discover its treasures just beyond the walls: San Ponziano, San Salvatore and the small temple (N.B. The latter two are UNESCO heritage sites).

Don’t miss the frescoes by Filippo Lippi and Pinturicchio inside the cathedral and the view from the Albornoz Fortress.

But above all, in Spoleto you have to walk!

For years I worked as a public relations officer for the Banca Popolare di Spoleto, writing many articles about the city and its history, and I would be very happy to share my knowledge with you.

Incidentally, a far from secondary aspect is gastronomic, because here you will find some of the most interesting restaurants inUmbria.

Accomplice in this is the Festival of Two Worlds, which, in addition to attracting artists from all over the world, has been able to coat Umbrian gastronomic tradition with elegance.

I invite you to stop in Spoleto, because otherwise you will regret it. Give me a call and I will be happy to tell you the story of a fairy-tale city.
