Spoleto is a true scenic capital. At the center of the proposed guided tour is the story of how it went from the scenography of power through the ages to finally arrive at that of culture and beauty, from the Romans and Lombards to the splendor of the Festival of the Two Worlds. A tale of how a capital is built first politically and then culturally.
The guided tour includes the National Archaeological Museum and Roman theater, the Arch of Drusus and Germanicus, Market Square, the bishopric with St. Euphemia’s Church (exterior), and Cathedral Square.
Duration: about 3 hours
