Perugia is a perfect example of a layered city, perpetually evolving above the remnants of its past. With this in mind, the path inside the Gallery becomes an essential arrival point for discovering this evolution.
It is exciting to retrace those images that, preserved in the Gallery, constitute true “postcards from the past.” From the Cappella dei Priori, with the urban scenarios of the 15th century, the exhibition reaches the modern age, looking for the works that chose Perugia as their background.
The starting point is the city itself, with scenarios that are now the result of the evolution illustrated by the works of art. The guided tour will be conducted with the aim of reconstructing its history, which will then be verified within the gallery tour.
