Starting with the classic itinerary, which moves through the streets and squares of the center, it is possible to create numerous tailor-made itineraries: a half-day visit to Todi can be added to a visit to other towns just a few kilometers away.

  • Monte Castello di Vibio, a small medieval village in the splendid panoramic setting of the Umbrian hills. It has the distinction of preserving a small but surprising architectural jewel: the 18th-century Teatro della Concordia, which with its 99 seats has won the title of “the world’s smallest theater.”
  • Deruta, a city famous throughout the world for its production of traditional ceramics: it is really worth lingering to see how the artisanal creation of the artifacts takes place, from the clay to the potter’s wheel to the elegant pictorial decoration. Also of great interest is the Museum of Ceramics in the city center.
  • Porchiano Castle, in a beautiful panoramic position this medieval castle is now a historic residence. The current owners have been able to enhance these ancient rooms with great elegance and sense of beauty and allow guided tours inside, by reservation, of course.
  • Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Baths, built on the site of a miraculous event, has over the centuries become a point of reference for popular devotion: hundreds and hundreds of faithful have donated to the church special votive tablets made of majolica that have come to constitute a veritable decorative covering. The figurative scenes depicted in the nearly six hundred tablets constitute a veritable wealth of evidence of peasant traditions and the life of the people over a span of three centuries.
