An itinerary that from the remains of the Roman city climbs to the top of the sacred Mount Ingino, the Hill of St. Ubaldo.
The guided tour begins at the remains of the Roman city, between the theater and the Antiquarium. It is here that the Tables of Gubbio, one of the most important epigraphic texts of the ancient world, were found.
The findings hark back to the city’s origins and the Corsa dei Ceri, one ofUmbria‘s best-known festivals, chosen as an emblem of the region.
The route retraces the stages of this ancient ceremony and the places involved in the urban fabric, up to the Basilica of St. Ubaldo, where the Ceri are kept.

The tour includes the Roman Theater and the Antiquarium. Following the route of the Ceri, we pass through the ancient gates and significant sites, such as Piazza Grande, before reaching the Basilica of St. Ubaldo.
