In Otricoli, the Roman-era town–bustling and thriving trading port at a bend in the river–does not coincide with the medieval city that reoccupies the site chosen by the Umbrians on high ground.
Our guided tour starts from the Antiquarium of San Fulgenzio and the town still wrapped in its medieval walls to reach the Archaeological Park. Here, among ancient vestiges and lush nature, we will reconstruct the daily history of a Roman city.
The three-hour tour includes the historic center of Otricoli, the Antiquarium of San Fulgenzio and the Archaeological Park of Ocriculum.
